Set-up and Care Instructions – Troubleshooting

Caring for the beer-table set:

The beer-table set is designed for indoor and outdoor usage. The furniture is made of wood and like all wood furniture should not be left outside in bad weather conditions. If the beer table set get wet, wipe off the water as soon as possible. To enjoy your beer table set for many years, fold and store it under cover or inside when not in use. The best way to store the beer table set is to place the upper side of both benches against the upper side of the table. Please contact us or send us an email to customerservice@beertable.com.au in case you need some help or have questions about the Set-up and Troubleshooting.

Set-up instruction to open the beer-table set:

To open the spring lock, push down the lever of the spring lock to unlock the leg. Pull with one hand the bottom of the metal frame and open up the leg as shown in picture “2”

Push the cross-bracing into the spring lock till the lever closes as shown in picture “2”.
In some cases you have to adjust the spring lock and / or the metal frame for the first time you open the legs of  the beer table set.
See “Trouble Shooting” as follows.

The cross bracing has to be locked in the spring lock as shown in picture “3”.
Repeat this procedure to open up the legs for the 2x beer benches and the beer table. To fold the legs, open the spring lock as shown in picture “1”, pull the cross bracing out of the spring lock and fold the leg. The metal frame has been folded as shown in picture “1” and the spring lock has to be locked.

Adjusting the legs of the beer-table set:

It could sometimes at the first time you fold up the beer table set, that the cross-bracing is not going or not going easily into the spring lock. In this case you have to adjust the spring lock by open the two nuts with a number “10” spanner as shown in the picture “1”.

After you have opened the nuts you have to push the cross-bracing into the spring lock till the lever closes. The cross-bracing has to go very smooth into the spring lock. Repeat this twice or three times and the spring lock adjust by itself. After you have adjusted the spring lock, you have to tight the nuts again to assure the stability.

If required, the metal frame can be adjusted as well. Open the three nuts of the metal frame as shown in picture “3”. Adjust the frame a little bit to the left or right. Push as described in picture “2” the cross-bracing into the spring lock. After you have adjusted the metal frame and the spring lock, you have to tight the nuts again to  assure the stability.
